As the Ottawa International Writers Festival starts to wind down from a successful season, a few notable events are still upcoming this (promising to be gorgeous) weekend and into next week in Ottawa.

Also well worth noting is Classic Ottawa II “A Feast of local writers”
“Dramatic readings by the works of some of the best writers in Ottawa performaed by some of the best actors in Ottawa.
Hear the work of Alan Cumyn, Brian Doyle, Charlotte Gray, Kate Heartfield, Paul Mackan, Missy Marston, Ian McKercher, Amands West Lewis, Tim Wynne-Jones and a special presentation of a short play by Ottawa school children; performed by Mary Ellis, Andrew Moore, James Richardson & Kristina Watt.
Special appearance by Phil Da Costa of Katari Imaging. It’s time to go loco and local!”
(Entrance is 10$ + booking fee if you are an ‘artist’ and I reckon that has to include writer for this event)
*These events will be disappearing from the Ottawa International Writers Festival events page link as the dates pass. So if you click and there’s nothign there, that’s cause it isn’t “upcoming” anymore.
